December Moon Cycles

The Full Moon on December 7 at 11:08 p.m. in Gemini

The holiday season decorations, parties, and shopping will be more subdued this year. With this Full Moon square to Neptune (planet of illusion), people have to cut back due to inflation and uncertainly about the economy in general. This may cause some disruption or postponement of holiday plans. If you are traveling in the next two weeks, be vigilant about the road, travel, communication and plan to take extra time.

This Full Moon emphasizes communication. Exercise some care in speech. People are apt to be sensitive and need support more during the holidays. Keep the holiday spirit but remains flexible this year. Be open to new ways to celebrate—smaller gatherings, pot-lucks, zoom greetings.

The Full Moon is close to the nation’s Mars in the seventh house of open enemies. Watch for labor disputes in the United States and tension in the Mideast mounting.

Everyone will be a bit more practical, but they will still be traveling and enjoying the holiday. Venus, the love planet, makes a good aspect to Uranus, which brings out the best people. The stock market may even get a Christmas bonus!

With the New Moon clashing with Jupiter, there is a tendency to over-spend and overdo, Keep reasonable boundaries and let a few chores go. Most of all, take time to be close to the people who matter the most.

On the national front, women’s issues make the news as new laws go into effect. Women are speaking out more in the United States and abroad. Inflation will continue to be an issue as well.

November Moon Cycles

Note: Sunday, November 6, 2022, our clocks will “fall” back by one hour at two o’clock in the morning to one a.m.

The Full Moon on November 8 may bring unexpected events

The Full in Taurus places the emphasis on security — both national and international. It is an important full Moon as it is a total lunar eclipse. While ancient astrologers viewed eclipses as omens, modern astrologers see eclipses more as psychological issues. There may be more concern for the Ukrainians as Russia continues its aggression. With shortages of fuel, food, and shelter, many are likely to suffer. Pray for world peace. Work for good.

In the United States the eclipse takes place on the day of the mid-term elections. This could bring the element of surprise with protests to follow. Why? This is because the Full Moon is close to Uranus—the rebellious planet. People are apt to be more opinionated and less tolerant of the results. Try to remain reasonable with unreasonable people.

At the same time, the Moon is square Saturn. This may cause many to question values and try to maintain the status-quo. It’s a busy eclipse with Mercury, Venus, Uranus, the Moon’s Nodes, and Saturn closely involved. Try to manage the stress with meditation and a slower pace. This not a good time to take on new responsibilities. If possible, postpone major decisions and new ventures until the week after the New Moon.

The New Moon on November 23 at 5:57 p.m. EST arrives just in time for Thanksgiving. It brings holiday cheer. This is because the New Moon in Sagittarius -a sign known for optimism-- makes a trine to the good-luck planet, Jupiter. This should bring people closer as it joins Venus (love) and Mercury (communications). People are thankful to be with family and friends for the holidays. Take time to nurture your faith and expand your horizons. Travel is favored as well as family and group gatherings. Whatever you are grateful for this Thanksgiving, share your blessings with others!

Sun in Sagittarius November 22-December 21

Sagittarians are born seekers. Their key phrase is, I PERCEIVE. They love travel, sports and adventure. Like their sign, the body of the centaur and head of the archer, they are half party animal, half square shooter. The lower side of Sagittarius can stretch the truth a bit. The higher side is a seeker of higher truths. Generally, Sagittarians have a sense of humor and usually enjoy the outdoors.

Famous Sagittarius ladies: Taylor Swift, Margaret Meade, Tina Turner, Scarlett Johansson, Leslie Stahl, Emily Dickinson, Amy Grant, Caroline Kennedy, Patty Duke. Karen Gillan, Lucy Liu, and Marisa Tomei.

Noted Sagittarius males: Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Stiller, Brad Pitt, Mark Twain, Frank Sinatra, Kahlil Gibran, Bruce Lee, Blake, Sai Baba, Kirk Douglas, Walt Disney Winston Churchill, Lucas Black, and Brendan Fraser.

Sagittarius of the Month: Brad Pitt

American actor, William Bradley "Brad" Pitt was born December 18, 1963 at 6:31 a.m.in Shawnee, Oklahoma. The sexy Sagittarius dropped out of university to pursue a career as an actor in Hollywood. His instincts were right. He has had a stellar career, winning a Golden Globe Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and three Academy Award nominations and winning one, for productions of his film production company Plan B Entertainment.

No wonder, with his Sun in his first house, he has a strong physique which he exhibited in his break-out role as buff hitch-hiker in Thelma and Louise. The Sun on the ascendant also bestows a sunny disposition and an optimistic, larger-than- life image.

Pitt also has a strong sense of responsibility and is ambitious due to his Moon in the serious sign of Capricorn. This may make the actor sensitive to criticism and prone to depression. Fortunately, his Moon is close to Venus and in good aspect to Neptune, so he attracts beautiful woman to cheer him up. He is lucky in love with Venus in traditional Capricorn trine Uranus and Pluto. Pitt has dated many actresses — Gwyneth Paltrow and Gena Davis, and married two - Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie.

The combination of the Moon, Mercury, and Venus favor acting and public performances. Not all actors are successful financially, but Brad Pitt’s trine to Uranus and Pluto indicate block-buster earnings. 2023 should be a happy year both in the actor’s professional and personal life, as the dynamic planet Uranus trines his Venus and Moon in Capricorn.

With Jupiter in the house of home (4th), Pitt loves having family. The father of six has been paying a reported 1.5 million dollars each year in child support and is now pleading his case to the California Supreme Court to get better and relatively more equal rights for the Jolie-Pitt children. With Uranus making excellent aspects to his Capricorn planets, he is likely to prevail in court.

Gemini — May 21 to June 20

NOTED GEMINI MALES: Arthur Conan Doyle, Michael J. Fox, John F. Kennedy, Bob Dylan, Walt Whitman, John Wayne, Liam Neeson, Johnny Depp Kanye West, and Mark Wahlberg.

FAMOUS GEMINI LADIES: Marilyn Monroe, Judy Garland, Wynonna Judd, Alice Bailey, Queen Victoria, Alice Bailey, Ally Sheedy, Isabella Rossellini, Helen Hunt, Elizabeth Hurley, Brooke Shields, and Kate Upton.

The Sun brightens in Gemini. Its key phrase is, I THINK. Geminis are natural communicators and can make excellent teachers, researchers, and sales personnel. They have a love of short distant travel. Known for their quick smiles and wit, they make good travel companions and always enjoy a change of pace. However, they do have trouble sitting still and may get bored easily. In order to be successful, Geminis need to learn to concentrate on one thing at a time.

Gemini of the month: Clint Eastwood

What does 93 year-old Clint Eastwood sees as the keys to his longevity and success? His answer: “Keep changing.”

Like most Geminis, Clint Eastwood thrives on change. The actor was born May 31, 1930 5:35 P.M. San Francisco, California. His star quality was evident from birth. His midheaven is a degree of royalty, the planet of glamour, Neptune, conjunct. His power point are the Sun in Gemini in the seventh house - good for working with the public, Moon in Leo in the house, giving him a flair for drama, and a very private Scorpio ascendant. He is careful to guard his privacy, which at times can be at odds with his need to shine, Moon in Leo. While ruggedly handsome at 6’4”, he keeps a tight rein on his emotions.

With the Sun square Neptune, he can be shy at times. In fact his soul cycle indicated by the south node in the 12th house is one of a past spiritual seeker, destined to be in the world in this life. With the majority, eight of his ten planets on the right hand side of the chart, contrary to his “macho” image, he is very much a “soft touch”. However, he is rugged, with his ruler, Pluto in Cancer in the eighth house of ambition, opposite Saturn - “the school of hard knocks”.

Altogether, Eastwood has eight children from his two marriages and relationships. Having a large family along with a successful life, and plenty of time on the golf course may be the secret to Clint Eastwood’s long life.
